“New Methods for Certification of HR Specialists”
Dear All, the Bulgarian HR Association – BHRMDA was honored to host the EAPM Executive Committee in Sofia on the 21th and 22th of January. We believe that the interesting discussions and synergy were at a very high level and that a lot of common decisions were made or tuned during that meeting.
Important part of the meeting was the international round table-discussion on professional certification, which gathered more than 100 members of BHRMDA and more than 30 EAPM representatives. Three certification models were presented and discussed by the participants – CIPD’s New Profession Map, German HR Association’s standards and development of their certification process and last but not least – the new Bulgarian process, developed by a working group and presented for the first time in front of international audience.
Among the most significant issues discussed was the importance between the certification process and the requirements of the business which will strengthen the role of the HR specialists as strategic partners in their organizations. Another question of big importance was whether it is necessary to make amendments in the legislation that would make the certification necessary.
